Joan of Arc was born May 30th, 1412 and died an early death at the age of 19. She was known for her great bravery and as the hero of France. She was a popular figure in literature, paintings, sculptures, and other cultural works. She was sent as relief for the siege of Orleans mission and was captured on 23 May 1430. She was given to the English and then put on trial by the English Bishop on an assortment of charges. She was eventually found guilty and was burned to death.
