Thomas Aquinas was born on March 7th 1274.He was born in Roccasecca, Italy and became an Italian priest along with and a philosopher, theologian, and a scholasticism. He is significant because majority of our modern philosophy came from his ideas like ethics, natural law, metaphysics, and political theory. He also combined Aristotle's philosophy studies with the principles of Christianity.
Thomas is honored as a saint by the Catholic Church and is considered a model teacher for those studying priesthood, and both natural reason and speculative theology. |
